In addition, you can post a single update on your page and reach all of your fans instantly.

Pros of Facebook

The pros of Facebook are obvious:

•    First, it’s one of the most popular ways to network online today. With thousands of users, it’s a cinch to do network marketing recruiting quickly and easily.
•    Secondly, it’s free, which stretches your advertising budget further.
•    Thirdly, it allows you to interact with your clients on a casual and personal level, developing bonds of trust and loyalty.

Cons of Facebook

There are a few cons to Facebook:

•    There’s not a lot of room for personalization, so you have to use their standard templates when setting up your pages;
•    As with any campaign, your Facebook page must have a focus and a purpose, otherwise you will have thousands of fans and no clue how to reach them or interact with them in a meaningful way;
•    If you put too many updates on your page, you run the risk of annoying your fans, which could lead them to “hide” your updates in their News Feeds. This is essentially the same as putting a spam blocker over your email.

So before you make plans to join a network marketing internet business, you must make a careful check to make sure you are joining an organization that is a genuine and lawful entity. A lot of misunderstandings arise when people simply don’t read what they are signing. Read first and ask lots of questions, and when you know what you are getting into, then (and only then) sign on the dotted line.

Be Cynical

A lot of MLM marketing companies rely on personal relationships to grow their sales forces. They depend upon their salespeople to trade on personal bonds of trust and love to entice others to join the company. So it’s quite possible that you will be approached by one of your friends or relations to join a company at some point during your work at home career.

But be cynical of any company that wants to grow a sales force in this way, and do a little judicious sleuthing before signing on with anyone – regardless of who’s recruiting you.

Word of mouth simply doesn’t cut it anymore, if you are looking for an efficient way to market your own business. The internet has fundamentally changed not only the way we do business, but how we advertise that business to the world. There’s No Target

When you recruit the old-fashioned way, you get a mix of people who have no background in sales, and perhaps they lack the ability to properly market your products. With network marketing systems, you have a much better than average chance of recruiting people who know what they’re doing and require minimal training and hand-holding to bring in huge sales.

Let’s say one of your buddies comes up to you and he has an inside track on a lucrative online internet business opportunity and he’s willing to let you in on the ground floor. He says you’d be a fool to pass it up and is promising a work from home business idea that will lead to financial security. Should you jump at the chance? No matter what your career background has been, chances are you have learned skills and have innate talents that you can bring to an MLM marketing system. Make sure that the job you are considering is one that plays to these strengths. If you find a career that caters to your talents and skills, you are more likely to be successful and more likely to enjoy the career switch. This also means that you are more likely to stick with your newfound career, enjoying the challenges and persevering through any difficult times you may face.

2.    What Does the New Career Require?

Many new business opportunities require not only a basic skill set, but also an upfront investment of cash. Make sure you read all the fine print and know what’s required of you before you sign on with any company. Also, make sure you understand what kind of support they offer new trainees during that crucial first year. They may also require you to undergo training sessions and to link up with a mentor to help you through your first year in network marketing. If they don’t offer any kind of support or if they require a huge cash investment that you cannot afford, it’s best to keep looking for a different opportunity.

3.    What Is This New Company Like?

Unfortunately, scammers proliferate on the internet and for every legitimate offer out there, there are about three scams. So even if a buddy comes up to you with a do-or-die idea, make sure you check out the company yourself. Make sure there aren’t any complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau. Do a little judicious googling and see if any consumer-watch groups have them in their sights. You want a new career but you don’t want to get swindled, so a little research is wise before you make that leap.

There are naysayers out there who feel that it’s not important to put a face on internet MLM marketing businesses anymore. They argue that the average network marketing internet business is a flash in the pan and there is not even enough time to build a relationship with the consumer. They urge you to get in while you can, earn as much money as you can quickly, and then leave to find another way to make money.

2.    Build Relationships

Once you have generated some traffic, you need to build up loyalty and trust. This is what will keep your customers returning for more. It leads to steady growth for your company and customer retention so you aren’t constantly searching for a new audience. You can accomplish this by offering information or content of value to your audience.

3.    Provide Solutions

Finally, you retain the audience with whom you have built a relationship based on trust by offering them solutions to their current problems. You can demonstrate how your business or its affiliates can provide your clients with the tools they need to solve their problems, grow their businesses, or the like. The important thing is to offer a solution of value, and to demonstrate to your clients exactly how your company can provide them with the answers they need.
