Need some fresh ways to do efficient network marketing recruiting? I am a huge fan of using the internet to push your business to the next level. So I am going to level with you, some of the best insider tips on growing your company are directly related to the internet boom.

Try an MLM Blog

An MLM blog is a great way to establish personal bonds with potential recruits. The format of a blog is casual and friendly; you can tell your audience whatever is on your mind in your own voice. In addition, blogs can be updated as often as you have more news to share. Most bloggers update once daily or a few times a week; your updates will depend on your own personal schedule.

Blogs are also a good way to maximize your advertising budget, as there are several sites available that offer free blog hosting, or you can add blogging capabilities to your own website.

Blogs are most effective at network marketing lead generation when you write to specific keywords; that is, certain phrases that can capture your audience’s attention. If you need suggestions for finding these keywords, then I highly recommend SEO Networker or the Definitive Guide to Google Adwords. If you have trouble getting started with your blog, try the tips offered at the Copy Writers’ Guild.

Make the Most of Social Media

Social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace are fast becoming the vanguard of network marketing prospecting. These sites offer similar advantages to blogging: ease of use, convenience, and the ability to attract recruits through casual and friendly bonds.

Social media differ from blogs in that you don’t have to write much to get started; simply add your user account and then post a few updates to keep your audience hungry for more. In fact, Twitter limits you to 140 characters when updating, so you’ll have to be brief.

For more information on social media, I would suggest checking out the Social Media Science page. For extra help with Twitter, I would strongly advise you check out Tweet Adder.

If you are new to the work at home business industry, you’ll probably get a lot of outdated advice on how to generate an MLM business lead. My advice is, don’t listen to these old school methods. Instead, blaze a new trail for your business by using new school methods to generate leads. There are three main reasons you should completely avoid old school methods:

1.    They’re Too Localized

One of the worst failings of the old school method of network marketing recruiting is that it limits you to one geographic area. If you only contact the people you know or try to generate recruits in your area, you are missing out on 99% of the world.

We operate in a global marketplace now; the internet has fundamentally changed the way we do business. Back in the days before the internet came along, sticking with one geographic area made sense. But now that you can access the world with one click of the mouse, it simply doesn’t make sense to limit yourself to your hometown.

2.    They Limit You to Familiarity

Back in the dark ages of network marketing lead generation, you were trained to get your family and friends involved. Trading on bonds of familiarity and trust, you were supposed to grow your company by hiring those you love to work for you. Let me ask you, how well does that work? Is mixing friends and business, or family bonds and business, ever a good idea?

The answer is no. If you limit yourself to friends and relatives, then you are missing out on the potential of recruiting qualified folks who have a real passion for what you do. Plus, you run the risk of souring your personal relationships; there’s no guarantee that your loved ones will be good at what you do.

3.    They Don’t Manipulate the Power of the Internet

Finally, you should spend your first year in network marketing exploring the power of the internet. These old school methods were developed before anyone anticipated that something like the internet would even exist. So now that you have a global marketplace at your fingertips, why not use the methods that work best with it and harness its power?

You can take your business well past your initial goals once you start using new school methods that really work with the advantages the internet has to offer. Wouldn’t you rather experience exponential growth your first year, rather than barely skating by? I thought so!

Do you need to shake up your network marketing prospecting routine? Afraid you can’t find enough of the right kind of candidates? Tired of wasting precious time on leads that don’t work out? If that’s the case, then you need to take a look at my network marketing system. It will change the way you do business.

It’s a Revolutionary Concept

Instead of spending all your time trying to find the right MLM business leads for your company, why not spend your time promoting your company instead? If you use the principles of attraction marketing to promote your business, you will focus on building up your company, broadcasting information about your products and services, and branding yourself as the expert in your particular field.

This means that when people who are truly interested in what you have to offer go looking, they will find you. In the meantime, rather than waste your efforts on trying to track down leads who may (or may not) work, you will have built your business and your reputation up to a respectable peak. It also means that the prospects who have sought you out already have an interest in joining your company. You won’t have to work nearly as hard to sell them, because they are already mostly sold.

Work Smart, Not Hard

If you decided to start a home based business online, you probably wanted to spend fewer hours at work. In fact, most entrepreneurs start a home based company so they can be closer to home and family. If that’s the case with you, then implementing my recruitment system will help you reach that goal.

One of the most time consuming processes, once you own your own business, is network marketing recruiting. You can literally spend countless hours at your desk trying to find new ways to locate fresh prospects.

But when you use the attraction marketing principles I have set out for you, you have the opportunity to build your company in your spare time, rather than a list of dead-end prospects. Work smart and grow your company’s reputation in the process of attracting top-tier candidates! Doesn’t that sound a lot better than digging for more and more leads?

Invest your time in your company — I will show you how you can put this system to work for you!

Whether you are completely new to the concept of network marketing lead generation, or if you have done network marketing prospecting for a while, you will find that my system will give you the competitive edge you need for success. Let’s be honest: you need a way to market your company effectively online.

Without a comprehensive plan that pushes you above the rest of the online businesses out there, you will surely fail in this economy. In fact, most small businesses fail their first year in business. Why? Because most entrepreneurs don’t have a plan for marketing and advertising that will work.

Network Marketing Recruiting for the Internet Golden Age

When I first started my recruiting, I was using the old-school methods that have been handed down from marketer to marketer for years. I was prospecting among friends and family members. I was looking for ways to find leads locally. Then I got clued in to email marketing, and my whole business outlook transformed.

Suddenly, I was generating leads from thousands of miles away with just the click of a mouse. But over time, email marketing ceased to be effective. As spam filters proliferated and potential clients were inundated with incoming mail, my messages of hope were deleted, never even read. I needed, once again, to find a better way to market my company.

MLM Business Leads Post E-mail Marketing

After my email marketing system stopped being so effective, I decided to find ways to market on the internet that put the principles of attraction marketing into place. Rather than seek out prospects, I would broadcast information about my company online, attracting interested parties directly to my company. It worked.

Using a system that incorporates several different elements, such as video marketing, social media marketing, and network marketing articles, I have grown my company exponentially. It’s a lot more effective and a lot less work than targeting leads and chasing them down. And best of all, these methods are practically free, saving me some valuable advertising dollars.

I urge you, no matter how long you have been in the business, to check out my website to learn more.

Pain-Free Network Marketing Recruiting

If you are new to network marketing recruiting, you probably feel a little out of control and nervous. You’re worried about how to generate those leads and make a steady income. I’ve been there myself, and I can tell you it can be easy if you follow my simple rules for success.

Do Not Rely on Friends and Family

As you begin your business, you will be told that you should look among your friends and family for network marketing lead generation. Your mentor will likely tell you that you can generate thousands of leads just based on working with your loved ones. But I am here to tell you that it simply won’t work. There are several reasons why you should never recruit from friends and family members:

  • Choosing among your loved ones limits you unnecessarily. You limit yourself to a close circle of friends and family members who may or may not have the means and the knowledge to become effective salespeople. This even limits you geographically to wherever your loved ones reside.
  • Network marketing prospecting among your loved ones can make for uncomfortable social situations. If they are uninterested, it could make for awkwardness because they feel bad for turning you down. If you don’t ask one family member but do try to recruit another, it could make for hurt feelings. Overall, mixing business with family relationships is a bad idea, and you should steer clear of it at all costs.
  • If you recruit in this manner, then you potentially miss out on or ignore other sources of lead generation that could yield very lucrative results. In other words, if you focus on one narrow source of leads, you miss other sources that could bring in lots of savvy network marketers who could make a lot of money.

Instead, Rely on Principles of Attraction Marketing

I always stress that instead of choosing among friends and family members, you should generate MLM business leads through the principles of attraction marketing. If you join my team, I will show you how you can put this kind of marketing to work for you, generating valuable leads that could put your business in the prime of competition.

Generating an MLM Business Lead through Facebook

Facebook is everywhere, and it’s a great tool for generating that elusive MLM business lead. But how can you manipulate the power of this social media site and use it to your network marketing internet business’ advantage? I highly recommend you check out  Social Media Science, and if you still use MySpace, check out Friend Blaster Pro for more information. Here’s my take on Facebook:

What Is Facebook?

Facebook is a social networking site that has now surpassed MySpace as the most popular way to network online. This site is free and allows you to set up a personal profile page as well as a business profile page. Your friends and fans can link together with your pages, increasing your visibility to other potential clients. In addition, you can post a single update on your page and reach all of your fans instantly.

Pros of Facebook

The pros of Facebook are obvious:

•    First, it’s one of the most popular ways to network online today. With thousands of users, it’s a cinch to do network marketing recruiting quickly and easily.
•    Secondly, it’s free, which stretches your advertising budget further.
•    Thirdly, it allows you to interact with your clients on a casual and personal level, developing bonds of trust and loyalty.

Cons of Facebook

There are a few cons to Facebook:

•    There’s not a lot of room for personalization, so you have to use their standard templates when setting up your pages;
•    As with any campaign, your Facebook page must have a focus and a purpose, otherwise you will have thousands of fans and no clue how to reach them or interact with them in a meaningful way;
•    If you put too many updates on your page, you run the risk of annoying your fans, which could lead them to “hide” your updates in their News Feeds. This is essentially the same as putting a spam blocker over your email.

Does Twitter Help with MLM Advertising?

Twitter, the social networking site that capitalizes on updates from users in 140 characters or less, has gained a lot of exposure as a way to ramp up MLM advertising. But how much of this buzz is really true, and how much of it is just hype? You can read a lot more about manipulating Twitter to your own use by going to Tweet Adder. But if you want my own personal take on Twitter, here you go!

What Is Twitter?

Twitter is a relatively new social networking phenomenon. If you are familiar with Facebook or MySpace, you know you can update your “status,” posting a brief message about how you feel or what you are doing that day for friends and family to see. Twitter takes this to the next level – it’s only about status updates, and you have to update yours in 140 characters or less.

It has gained in popularity after being used extensively in the recent presidential election as well as well-publicized public relation campaigns and even upheavals in world politics.

Pros of Twitter Marketing

There are several pros to using Twitter in network marketing recruiting:

• You can compete on equal footing with huge corporations in the same platform, which means you have a level playing field for competition;
• Twitter offers a free tutorial for business users so that you can learn the basics for free;
• It’s a free way to advertise and promote your company, stretching your advertising dollar further;
• You are limited to 140 characters or less, which promotes clarity and brevity;
• You reach out to thousands of potential MLM business leads with a single tweet.

Cons of Twitter Marketing

• Although adults are catching up, Twitter seems to be the major domain of teenagers – it’s largest demographic falls in the 13-17 year old range, which can limit your potential to reach serious investors;
• Some people find the 140 character limit too restrictive.

Given its potential to reach thousands of people and its rising popularity, I highly suggest you use Twitter for network marketing lead generation.

If you follow the old-school methods of recruiting in the home based business marketing world, your efforts will be ineffective and unproductive. If you want to build a company with steady growth and a large amount of cash flow, then steer clear of these common mistakes:

Mistake #1: Trade on Personal Relationships

Most network marketing prospecting begins at home, at least if you follow the old-school methods. Once you join one of these organizations, you are asked to trade on personal relationships to build your downline and create residual income. There are two major problems with this approach:

    It mixes business with family, creating a potentially awkward situation if your loved ones cannot or do not have the means to join the company;
    It limits you to choosing among loved ones for your own business associates, who may have little or no background in sales and therefore, no real qualifications other than they know you and you know them.

Mistake #2: Keep Your Efforts Local

Another old-school method of network marketing recruiting is to keep your efforts localized. If you follow this approach, you find recruits from within your local community, either by methods like posting fliers or ads in the local newspaper or by getting friends of friends to join. This method poses the same problems as above; mostly that you are limiting yourself to a small circle of people who may or may not have what it takes to join your company and become successful.

Mistake #3: Recruit in Huge Numbers

Finally, another old-school way of generating MLM business leads is to recruit in huge numbers. The concept is quantity over quality because the more people you recruit, the better chance you have of creating a downline with a sizable residual income. If you adhere to the old-school methods discussed above, then quantity may be your best bet for getting anyone to sell any amount of your products. But if you focus on hiring quality salespeople with a proven record, you really only need a handful to make a lucrative amount of residual income.

The network marketing recruiting process involves three steps. In the first step, you build traffic to your MLM marketing system by using many methods, ranging from video marketing to social media to network marketing articles. But once you have your audience’s attention, you will want to hold their interest by building a relationship based on loyalty and trust which is the second step. The final step, once you have built the relationship, is to monetize your list. You want to reward your loyal recruits by providing them with the solutions they need.

Provide Solutions of Value

When your recruits come on board, they come with the promise that they will earn money and build their own successful network marketing systems.  Like anyone else, they want to earn money too. So you must fulfill your promise to your teammates by giving them solutions of value. This means you can help them with training, especially if they are new to MLM advertising and aren’t very savvy on how to generate their own leads. You will need to be the mentor, advising your recruits on how they can improve their own network marketing skills so they can generate wealth too.

Offer Primary Business and Affiliate Links

You can also monetize your list by promoting your primary business as well as any relevant affiliate links. For example, if your recruits want to use social media to promote their businesses, you might introduce them to the Social Media Science site or to something like Tweet Adder. I personally find it helpful to promote my online lead generation system, MLM Lead System Pro. This system has helped me learn many of the tips and tricks that have made my company so successful.

Foster a Win-Win Atmosphere

Finally, as your recruits begin creating successful businesses too, you will want to keep a good relationship with them. You both mutually benefit from each other’s successes, so keep the lines of communication open. Your recruit’s successes are, in large part, due to your excellent coaching, and you will continue to reap the rewards of your hard work as they earn more and bigger commissions.

Whether you are new to internet MLM marketing, or have been in it for a while, you need to know that the old school methods of MLM advertising don’t work. I know we are all told that if you recruit a certain way, your business will grow exponentially in a very short period of time – overnight, in fact.

But the truth is that the old school methods of network marketing recruiting will only get you so far. I know, because when I started out I did the same thing and I could see my audience shrinking by the day. I knew there had to be a better way, and that’s why I want you to work with me directly. Still need to be convinced? Here are 3 reasons why the old methods don’t work:

1.    You Choose from a Limited Pool of Candidates

If you follow network marketing the old-fashioned way, you generate an MLM lead by asking your friends and families to participate. This means you limit your pool of candidates to people you already know. You aren’t harnessing the power of the internet to tap into the huge market of people who might be interested in working with you. Instead, you limit yourself to your own backyard, and that’s just too limited for an ambitious entrepreneur.

2.    You Play off Familiarity, Not Strengths

By following old-school methods, you aren’t just limiting yourself to your own backyard. You are also playing off the familiarity of friends and family, who may not be qualified to even run a successful business. You trade on personal relationships, not professional strength, to grow your company if you follow the old methods. To me, that’s just barely even ethical – not to mention potentially hazardous for the health of your company.

3.    You Tap Out Your Audience

Finally, if you follow these methods you will tap out your audience. You will reach a point at which you have contacted everyone you know and you won’t have any more candidates interested in your company. But if you actually look for leads on the internet, you have an unlimited audience receptive to your company. You never run out of growth potential.
